Manna Ministries endeavors to serve the working poor of the Roanoke Valley by providing food and other necessary items and services. Our philosophy is ‘If God sends you to us, we’ll serve you’. Therefore the motto: Feeding, Serving, Loving … People.
We serve on Thursday evenings from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm. Manna is located on the corner of Walnut and Third Street in Vinton (229 Walnut Avenue). After a family or individual has registered, they are welcome to participate in Manna’s distribution of food and other items one Thursday per month.

Manna-Packs is a program which supplies food to school age children over weekends and holidays. Quite often, school lunch and breakfast are the only nutritious meals these children receive. With over 50% of students qualifying for reduced cost of free meals, there is a great demand for this service.
As with all non-profits, we rely completely on donations to maintain our programs. Donations may be in the form of items or money. If you would like to do a drive of some sort for Manna, please consider collecting personal care items or household cleaning items. These prove to be the hardest for us to obtain and are always in high demand.
